Corn Yields 2025: A Humbling End to a Hard Season

As we close the books on 2025, the tone is a little more reflective than usual. Soybeans came through solid, but corn never had a fair shot. This year reminded us just how unpredictable farming can be — and how important it is to stay consistent.

What We’re Flying

With harvest mostly wrapped up, we’ve parked the planes for the season. No more in-season flying, just the early groundwork for 2026. That means talking with growers, reviewing what worked, and identifying where we can tighten things up — especially around disease pressure.

What We’re Seeing in the Field

Corn Yields 2025 told a different story than many of us hoped. Soybeans were a highlight — consistent and solid across the board. But corn struggled to the finish line. Even with fungicide applications, disease pressure was some of the worst we’ve seen. A lot of acres never had a chance to finish strong.

That’s frustrating, especially when you think about what went into every pass and every plan. Still, tough years like this are part of the deal — and they often teach us more than the easy ones.

What to Watch: Learning from Corn Yields 2025

We’re already sharpening the plan for 2026. For some fields, that might mean a two-pass fungicide program. In others, it’s going to be about tighter spray timing to stay ahead of pressure before it builds. What we’re not doing is panicking. A rough year doesn’t change who we are or how we farm.

Farming is about consistency. One season doesn’t define your operation — it just gives you more experience to draw from.

In Wrap...

Thanks to all of you for your business and trust this year. Corn Yields 2025 may not have met expectations, but we’re already working toward a better year ahead. Let’s keep the conversation going this winter.
